    Free Weight Loss eBook!

If you are really looking for the best diet,
I suggest doing what this mom did and combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best diet result

Don’t try Acai Burn or any other SCAM acai or colon cleanse companies!

    It’s a SCAM!

    I didn’t lose an ounce!

I signed up for their 30 day free trial and paid the S&H $5.95. I got the first bottle. One month later they charged me $59.95. I guess the fine print stated that by getting the free trial I would be enrolled in a program where they automatically send you a bottle and charge $59.95. I never even got the 2nd bottle. I heard all of the acai and colon cleanser companies work this way.

    Hi Magda,

You’ll probably find that it’s a case of trial and error, depending on how severe your gastroparesis is and what symptoms you have. If you’ve just got a bit of nausea or fullness, you’ll probably manage very well just changin your diet. If you’re vomiting as well, it can be a bit harder.

The general rule is soft foods that are low in fats and relatively low in fibre, as both fat and fibre further slow the rate at which the stomach empties. Beyond that, it’s a question of finding foods that you like, that you can tolerate. Soups, yoghurts, well cooked fruits & vegetables, pasta and rice would be a good starting point. There are also a number of calorie and protein supplements around if you find that you’re losing weight. You should also try to eat smaller, more frequent meals – three small meals is much better than three larger ones.

If you find you’re not managing your symptoms effectively with diet alone, there are also medications available that increase the motility of the stomach. It might be worth discussing this with your doctor.

Feel free to email me if you want. I’ve got severe gastroparesis, so at least may be able to answer any questions you have.
