What times should 1 eat throughout the day to keep up their metabolism?

I’ve heard in order to keep up your metabolism you need to eat atleast 6 small meals a day, is this true? If so, can someone give me different times to eat throughout the day? And what types of small meals should I eat? Thanks.
Lets say I wake up at 9AM, please give me times, I seriously believe I can follow this I just need things like, specifically set.

Every three hours…..it works great!

I depend what time you wake up. like today at 9am i ate
meal 1 oatmeal,6 eggwhites(1 yolk) for my first meal.
2 – chicken salald with brown rice
3- same as meal 1
4 – a can of tuna, no mayo, a banana
5 – after i worked out – chicken, broccoli, cauliflower
6 -oatmeal, and 8 eggwhites.
7 – ate tuna with an orange
just spread out the meals ever two hours
ok you wake up at 9am
first meal at 9
second meal at 11
3rd- 1
4- 3:30
5th -6:00
6th- 8:45-9
you can add another meal in too at like 1030 or 11
there is no set time you have to eat. also if you feel hungry to curb your appetite eat some almond, or a scoop of natural peanut butter. although there is fat in those food they still are consider healthy fat.
what you wanna acomplish by eating more meals a day, tiny , is keeping you appetite satisfied so you don’t binge of fat food.

So far, the jury is still out. There are no medical studies that show that eating more often raises your metabolism or lowers your appetite. Some people feel that eating 6 meals makes them feel more satisfied than eating the same amount of calories in only 3 meals. This might work for people who are on a diet that allows them a fairly large amount of calories, but I am on a very low calorie diet, and I found that eating 6 tiny meals a day never allowed me to feel full. By eating only 3 meals a day, I was able to feel satisfied for at least a few hours after eating.
